Main Floor Reconfiguration

This Montgomery Village colonial was reimagined to support aging family members while improving the functionality of the entire main floor for everyday life. Savvy Design Studio created an accessible main-level primary bedroom suite for the homeowners’ in-laws, then opened and upgraded the remaining living spaces so the home felt larger, brighter, and more connected.

The result is a thoughtful transformation that allows the home to evolve with the family - supporting comfort, dignity, and long-term livability without sacrificing the warmth and spaciousness of the main living areas.
