These are the driving forces behind SAVVY Design Studio, founded in 2021.

I am an Architect registered in Maryland, Virginia, and the District of Columbia with over 15 years of experience in design and construction. I started in the industry with a degree in Building Materials and Wood Technology, graduating summa cum laude from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst in 2006. For the next four years I worked in general contracting and learned about all aspects of the business through training programs working as a project manager, estimator, and roof truss designer. 

My favorite projects have always been homes, where I enjoy
putting myself in the client’s shoes to imagine their home
as the best that it can be.

I love construction, but felt the calling of my creative side. I went back to school for a Master’s in Architecture and graduated from the University of Maryland in 2014. For several years I worked in suburban Maryland on commercial and multifamily projects, with responsibility for every aspect of the projects from initial design concept through construction administration. I pride myself in my ability to create meaningful design, connect with my clients, and earn their trust. At SAVVY Design Studio, I have brought those abilities to my own residential architecture practice.

Through my varied experience, I know the entire design and construction process intimately. As an Architect, I bring that knowledge to my clients as their resource and advocate.
